New Ganz & Computar Catalogue Debuts

The latest Ganz and Computar 08-09 catalogue has been published, in a new format. This year's simplified and more colourful catalogue makes it easier than ever for installers, as well as end users, specifiers and consultants to select the most appropriate Ganz equipment and Computar lenses for their surveillance needs.

Inside the new 94-page CCTV System Product Guide is a host of design improvements and text enhancements allowing readers to more easily compare the equipment they require. Useful comparison diagrams illustrate, for example, how much scene detail is viewed by Computar varifocal lenses at 50mm focal length when 2 metres from the camera and similarly at 5m, 10m and 20m away.

Elsewhere in the catalogue are other informative, illustrated sections which describe, for instance, the accessories relating to the wide range of Ganz equipment, such as the various camera mounting brackets available for the increasingly popular C-AllView high-speed rugged pan/tilt PTZ camera.

The catalogue's opening pages begin with an overview of the latest product introductions for 2008, including the Thermal C-AllView, which can detect a human up to 1km away, as well as the new Radar View Detection System, the VsoIP Management System for IP picture transmission, and the most recent Computar high-res and megapixel camera lenses.

‘We've worked very hard this year to build on the success of previous Ganz and Computar catalogues by making the 08-09 version slimmer, quicker and easier to use,’ says Sales and Marketing Manager John Downie. ‘These enhancements also include helpful coloured page tabs for each section and the result is a much cleaner overall look.
