As seen on the BBC - Castle's Fuel Tank Protector

Around 2 million homes in the UK are not plumbed into the national gas supplies and therefore are reliant on storing their fuel in outdoor tanks. Castle's solution of a wireless transmitter that sits inside the fuel cap and alarms the customer's control panel is becoming recognised as a simple solution to the rising problem of fuel theft.

BBC's The ONE Show ran a feature on fuel tank protection, featuring the new Castle Fuel Tank Protector and the SMS facility of Euro ONE panels. This solution can also be used with any other manufacturer's control panels by using a Universal Receiver.

If the cap is opened or tampered with, homeowners will be alerted by, at the very least, an audible alert from their security system. On more advanced alarm systems outside security lights can be activated and SMS text messages can be sent or the Alarm Receiving Centre alerted to the unauthorised entry to the storage tank.

Andrew Knights, MD of Castle Care-Tech says, ‘This product provides the ideal solution to this escalating problem, giving homeowners peace of mind and the means of protecting their property and is a simple addition to any security system whether it be hard wired or wireless.’
